A real native from Marseilles … by adoption!
Versatile and passionate about art and heritage, I have always worked in contact with different audiences and in different languages. Being first-oriented in business communication (in France and Chile) I eventually dedicated my skills to the art and culture field for several years (cultural mediation, annual festival of contemporary art in the urban space ).
In 2012, I created my own small, tour guide business to share my findings on the heritage, history and people of Marseilles, whom I love above all.
With Business Studies and Fine Arts in hand, I received my most recent degree as a guide and speaker of the Cities of History and Art in 2011 … but I haven’t stopped furthering my studies : I am still taking courses in art history at the Ecole du Louvre and study regularly at the Alcazar library… I am a real bookworm!
Languages : French, English and Spanish.
Watch the city with new eyes: This is my philosophy
Watch the city with new eyes, eyes that see, this is the purpose of my tours. To achieve this “point of view”, there is nothing like reactivating some shared memories of the same people, the Mediterranean people who make up a neighborhood, through their work, their habitat, or recreation.
Take in the city through observation, reconnect to parts of history that we all know without being really sure about it, then we can awaken our curiosity and joy of discovery …
The same goes for the exhibition tours. Discussion and exchange occupy the first place in these encounters with the works. Learn to look, feel, and give an opinion on a work of art. Examining our own memories, expressing just what we feel in the moment. A fun way to combine art and objects that are part of our cultural heritage. One way to approach the world differently…
